Are you an active duty service member or part of the full-time National Guard stationed in the continental United States? If so, your feedback is crucial.

What is the LPS? The Living Pattern Survey, or LPS, conducted by the Department of Defense, aims to understand your shopping habits. By assessing what goods and services you regularly purchase and where you shop (on base, off base, or online), the LPS helps determine accurate Cost of Living Allowances known as COLA.

Why Participate?

  • Accuracy matters: Your input directly impacts COLA rates.
  • Voluntary, but encouraged: While participation is voluntary, we strongly encourage you to take the survey. Your responses ensure accurate representation.
  • Quick and easy: The survey takes approximately 15 minutes.
  • One survey per household: Only one survey submission per household is needed.

Visit the 2024 CONUS COLA LPS Survey here. The survey is open through March 31.
