HILL AFB, Utah -- Danny Clisham, a veteran air show announcer who is highly regarded in the industry, is returning to Hill AFB June 29-30 to announce the 2024 Warriors Over the Wasatch Air Show and Open House.
Clisham, a dynamic announcer known for fresh, lively and knowledge-based commentary, excited the Hill crowd for the first time two years ago and was invited to bring his exciting style back to Utah for this year's show.
“I developed a style that allows the great spectators to not only be educated but more importantly be entertained,” Clisham said. “The entire day should end with the spectators leaving happy and satisfied.”
Clisham, who is known as the “Skytalker,” has been announcing air shows for five decades and is a member of the Air Show Hall of Fame. He has also provided on-screen and voice-over work on film features and has served as an aerial stunt coordinator, a stunt double, and safety advisor on feature films and hit TV shows.
With heavy traffic expected and limited parking options, event organizers are asking guests to use public transportation to get to the event. The Utah Transit Authority is offering enhanced FrontRunner and shuttle bus service both days of the event. Event goers can ride the FrontRunner train to the Clearfield Station, where free shuttle buses will take riders directly to the show entrance. For more details, visit http://rideuta.com/airshow.
