Editor's Note: The “Team Hill Frontlines" series is a recurring feature that puts the spotlight on some of the civilian and military Airmen on the "frontlines" supporting our mission, people and families during the COVID-19 crisis.
Jennifer Child works for the Defense Logistics Agency as a material handler in the Storage and Distribution Division, where she supports the F-16 and A-10 weapon systems, as well as the C-130 cargo plane. Her responsibilities are receiving and in-checking, sorting, fulfilling material requisition orders and delivering parts to the various maintenance shops within her buildings. She is from Las Vegas, Nevada, and her hobbies include camping, four wheeling, crafts and hanging out with friends and family.
Jennifer’s experience working on the COVID-19 frontlines:
"I have taken extreme caution in keeping extra good housekeeping in my area. I have been cleaning and sanitizing everything when first coming in for the day, when others come into my area, as well as before I leave for the day. I wear a face mask when six feet social distancing cannot be maintained, and limit interactions by communicating mostly through email, IM, and phone calls whenever possible.”
Jennifer, Team Hill thanks you for your service! We appreciate you!
