Editor's Note: The “Team Hill Frontlines" series is a recurring feature that puts the spotlight on some of the civilian and military Airmen on the "frontlines" supporting our mission, people and families during the COVID-19 crisis.

Arvil "Tad" Christiansen works in the 309th Commodities Maintenance Group as an aircraft parts repairer work lead. He currently works in the landing gear division working on C-5 Galaxy landing gear. He trains new employees on work loading and prioritization in the shop. Tad hails from Syracuse, Utah, and his hobbies include hunting and camping.

Tad’s experience working on the COVID-19 frontlines:

"I strive to improve the maintenance process while producing quality products, on time, and at best value. During this difficult time, I have volunteered to work multiple hours of overtime to compensate for labor shortages in the assembly shop to fulfill a much-needed C-5 Nose piston axle for Travis AFB. We are currently adapting to the new situation and have made great strides to continue to support our Warfighter.”

Tad, Team Hill thanks you for your service! We appreciate you!
