Editor's Note: The “Team Hill Frontlines" series is a recurring feature that puts the spotlight on some of the civilian and military Airmen on the "frontlines" supporting our mission, people and families during the COVID-19 crisis.
Staff Sgt. Jeffrey Simcoe is the fire protection crew chief for the 775th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire and Emergency Services. He is responsible for direct supervision of firefighters. He directs a company of firefighters to the scene, and assesses and reports on conditions at the scene. His hometown is Abilene, Texas, and his hobbies include snowboarding, working out, target shooting, working on his car, and lake activities.
Sergeant Simcoe's experience working on the COVID-19 frontlines:
“During the COVID outbreak, we have increased our personal protective measures to raise the level of safety to not only ourselves but the public we serve. I am ensuring my crew limits potential exposures by limiting our movements to only those which are essential to our health and safety. Finally, training to keep my skills and knowledge up to date with the evolving changes taking place.”
Sergeant Simcoe, Team Hill thanks you for your service! We appreciate you!
