Airman 1st Class Kenneth Couture works in the 75th Logistics Readiness Squadron. He provides safe, efficient, and economical transportation service in support of home-station and contingency mission requirements. His hometown is Springfield, Massachusetts, and his hobbies include video games, dogs and firearms.
Airman Couture's experience working on the COVID-19 frontlines:
“We are working at minimum manning and are taking all the safety precautions needed to be safe during this crisis. I retrofitted four contamination response transports to quarantine facilities and augmented civilian medical shortfalls. We’re taking extra care to disinfect all our vehicles any time they’re used. I’m happy to play my role in helping people get through these tough times.”
"COVID-19 Frontline Ground Transportation Support Operator servicing Team Hill and its 50 mission partners across 3 wings. A1C Couture shot gunned 58 unique mission sets, conveying 3,186 miles hauling 200K lbs of cargo without protective medical equipment. His forward thinking aided in retrofitting 4 contamination response transports to quarantine facilities and augment civilian medical shortfalls. A1C Couture’s actions were instrumental when assisting staggered-shift protocol for 28 military personnel, minimizing exposer and sustaining operations.
