HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- Three Air Force Life Cycle Management Center employees were recently recognized with awards at the Annual Engineering Awards Ceremony. The Hill employees competed with workers from five other bases, including Wright-Patterson, Hanscom, Tinker, Robins and Eglin.
Capt. Sergio Martinez from the Fighter/Bomber Directorate received the Junior Military Engineer of the Year award for his role in the A-10 office at Hill and as a deployed depot liaison engineer for Operations Inherent Resolve and Freedom's Sentinel.
Dr. Mark Thomsen from the Fighter/Bomber Directorate received the 2018 Mentor Award for his role in mentoring Air Force supply chain engineers. He also played a pivotal role in the development of program office engineers within the A-10 depot.
Capt. Oba Vincent from the Battle Management Directorate received the Reservist/Individual Mobilization Augmentee of the Year award for supporting multiple programs across his directorate and executing a critical design review of a next generation aircraft training system.
