Chief Master Sgt. Tina Gilson is the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 75th Air Base Wing, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. She represents the nearly 2,500 personnel providing base support for the Ogden Air Logistics Complex, three wings and more than 50 mission partner organizations. She advises the installation commander on the mission effectiveness, combat readiness, professional development, training, utilization, health, morale and welfare of all assigned personnel as well as quality of life issues for the 27,000 total force warriors and family members that comprise Team Hill.
Chief Gilson entered the Air Force in September 2000. She graduated from the air traffic control specialist course at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, in March 2001. Her background includes various duties in the air traffic control career field. Throughout her career, she has filled a myriad of roles including, Watch Supervisor, NCOIC of Training and Standardization, additional-duty First Sergeant, Chief Controller, Flight Chief, and Group Senior Enlisted Leader. Her assignments include bases in Georgia, New Mexico, Florida, Delaware, and South Carolina. She has also served in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, three overseas remote tours in South Korea, a 365-deployment to Al Udeid, Qatar, and Djibouti, Africa. Prior to her current position, she served as the Senior Enlisted Leader, for the 25th Attack Group at Shaw AFB in Sumter, South Carolina.
