Utah DOD agencies host annual meeting with American Indian tribes

Representatives from American Indian tribes and DOD agencies are briefed on RQ-7B Shadow operations during a tour of the Utah National Guard's Unmanned Aerial System hangar, Wendover, Utah, April 28, 2017. Utah Department of Defense agencies hosted an annual face-to-face meeting April 27-28 with members of several American Indian Tribes who claim ancestral and ongoing ties to lands managed by the DOD agencies. Primary hosts for this year’s meeting, which was held in the adjacent cities of West Wendover, Nev., and Wendover, Utah, were Dugway Proving Ground and the Confederated Tribes of the Goshute Reservation. Hill Air Force Base, the Utah National Guard and Tooele Army Depot co-hosted the event. (U.S. Air Force photo/R. Nial Bradshaw)
