A veteran of World War II's atomic mission will be the featured speaker for the third installment of Plane Talk Sept. 9 at the Hill Aerospace Museum.

Norris Jernigan, a crew member from the B-29 Superfortress, will be speaking about his time with one of the Air Force’s historic World War II bombers. Jernigan is a former member of the 509th Composite Group, a World War II unit that employed the top-secret atomic bombing missions during World War II.

The event is sold out, but those interested in hearing Jernigan speak can tune into YouTube at 7 p.m.
