  • Training exercise at Hill AFB tests wings’ combat readiness

    Airmen from the 75th Air Base Wing, 388th Fighter Wing and Reserve 419th Fighter Wing participated in a training exercise last week aimed at testing their combat capability.

    An Airman at Hill Air Force Base was named one of five semifinalists in the Air Force Materiel Command Spark Tank competition. Technical Sgt. Joshua Feekes, a weapons safety manager for the 75th Air Base Wing, was selected for his submission titled “Take Fire Symbol Tracking System (FSTS) Air Force Wide.”
  • Airmen focus on readiness during Phase 1 and 2 exercise

    Airmen in the 75th Air Base Wing at Hill Air Force Base concluded a Phase 1 exercise this week, successfully showcasing the wing’s ability to deploy at a moment’s notice. The Air Force routinely holds such exercises, which tests a unit’s overall readiness including its ability to get Airmen and cargo out the door to a deployed location.

    The Air Force Association (Ute-Rocky Mountain Chapter) annually recognizes top performers from the Ogden Air Logistics Complex, 748th Supply Chain Management Group and 75th Air Base Wing at the Maj. Gen. Kevin J. Sullivan Maintenance and Logistics Awards Banquet. This year, 28 military and civilian Airmen were honored during the Nov. 27 banquet held at the Davis Conference Center in Layton.
