    The free event will include two live Zoom sessions with Jeff Buckholtz, director of We End Violence, Aug. 13 at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. The purpose of the event is to familiarize base personnel with the We End Violence mission of violence prevention and how to apply it to the work place.
  • DoD Safe Helpline: More resources, more accessible

    The Safe Helpline is the DOD’s sole hotline for members of the DoD community affected by sexual assault. It is a completely anonymous, confidential, and available 24/7 at safehelpline.org or 877-995-5247. There is also a Safe Helpline app available for download in the App Store or Google Play.

    The theme of SAAPM is "Protecting our People Protects our Mission" and this SAPR Spotlight falls on Capt. Ana Clark, a logistics management specialist in the 414th Supply Chain Management Squadron and the Hill AFB Alternate Sexual Assault Response Coordinator.
  • Sexual Assault Awareness Month commences at Hill AFB with proclamation signing

    Though live events such as the annual Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM) Breakfast and the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Open House and Self-Defense Seminars have been postponed until August, Hill Air Force Base is still observing SAAPM during the month of April.
  • Team Hill gathers for human trafficking awareness

    Allison Smith, education and outreach specialist for the Trafficking in Persons Program with the Refugee and Immigrant Center in Salt Lake City, recently spoke to more than 60 base personnel and community partners who gathered to learn about human trafficking.
  • Awareness event invitation – Combating Trafficking In Persons

    The Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office will host a Combating Trafficking In Persons event Jan. 23 from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Chapel Fellowship Hall. The purpose of the event is to provide an opportunity for both base personnel and community partners to increase their awareness and emphasize the importance of combating trafficking in persons.
  • Protecting our People Protects our Mission

    April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month and the theme of this year’s breakfast is “Protecting our People Protects our Mission.” A SAAPM breakfast will be held from 7:30-9 a.m. April 16 at the Hill Aerospace Museum.
