Historic fire exercise

Members of Hill AFB’s Fire and Emergency Services participated in a historic training exercise on May 22, 2024, after Leaders in the 75th Civil Engineer Group came across a news clipping where personnel participated in the inaugural fire drill in front of the headquarters building at Hill Field, Utah, on May 22, 1941. During the current training, responders tackled a scenario of a parked car ablaze alongside the installation’s current headquarters building. (U.S. Air Force photo by Todd Cromar)
