US, UK, Australian and Canadian forces operate as a combined force in exercise VIRTUAL FLAG: Coalition
Royal Canadian Air Force Brig. Gen. Mark Goulden, Director General Air and Space Readiness, (front row center right), and Royal Canadian Navy Commodore Jeffery Murray, Director General Naval Strategic Readiness, (front row center left), visited Canadian forces during VIRTUAL FLAG: Coalition 23-1 at the 705th Combat Training Squadron, also known as the Distributed Mission Operations Center, at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, and distributed sites across four countries, Oct. 24 – Nov. 4, 2022. Exercise VFC serves as a train as you fight exercise by integrating the full spectrum of air, land, surface, space, and cyber warfighters in a virtual battlespace in joint and coalition environments; forces from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada participated.
