Progress made on a salvaged F-35’s, repurposed for training aids
An F-35 canopy deemed unserviceable and unfit for flight sits in a crate May 4, 2022, at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The canopy frame will be rebuilt and installed on a salvaged F-35B cockpit section and turned into a sectional training aids by the 372nd Training Squadron, Det. 3, for use during instruction of F-35 maintainers.
