Officials with the 75th Security Forces Squadron at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, said a new “constitutional carry” law that takes effect May 5, 2021, in the state will not change the base’s current firearm regulations. The Utah legislature recently passed House Bill 60, which removes the state’s requirement for residents over the age of 21 to acquire a permit in order to legally carry a concealed firearm.
