Carmichael promoted to Colonel
Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Commander Air Force Brig. Gen. David Sanford officiated the promotion ceremony for DLA Aviation at Ogden Air Force Col. Christopher Carmichael held at the Ogden Air Logistics Complex on Hill Air Force Base, Utah, Oct. 30, 2020. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, attendance for the ceremony was restricted to Carmichael’s immediate family, ceremony staff and key personnel. Sanford officiated the ceremony virtually from Washington, D.C., where he is temporarily serving as the Deputy Director of the COVID-19 Supply Chain Task Force with the Federal Emergency Management Agency Headquarters.
