533rd Commodities Maintenance Squadron
William Johnson, 533rd Commodities Maintenance Squadron, measures an aircraft part while working with the five-axis Versatech machine May 5, 2020, at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The skilled engineers and technicians of the 533rd CMMXS in the Ogden Air Logistics Complex, design, prototype and manufacture thousands of critical components annually, that can’t be found anywhere else in the world. The parts are manufactured in order to bridge a gap in the regular supply system, when there’s no contract in place from an outside source.
