AFNWC splits ICBMs in two
The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center created two new directorates to focus on its intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) mission. An unarmed Minuteman III, the current version of the ICBM, launches during a developmental test at 12:33 a.m. Pacific Time Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020, at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif.
