Second Purple Heart
Explosive Ordnance Technician Master Sgt. Joseph Upton recieves his second Purple Heart from Air Force Sustainment Center Commander Lt. Gen. Lee K. Levy II June 22, 2018, at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. Upton was injured in 2013 while supporting an Army unit in Afghanistan. He recieved his first Purple Heart in 2005 while deployed to Iraq.
