Proof of wetlands, ancient life on the Utah Test and Training Range

D. Craig Young, Far Western Anthropological Research Group geoarchaeologist, talks with media while team members excavate an archaeological site on the Utah Test and Training Range, July 13, 2016. The site, located on Utah’s West Desert, has provided artifacts which archaeologists believe point to the presence of wetlands and humans more than 12,000 years ago.
