Col. Jennifer Hammerstedt receives her first salute as 75th Air Base Wing commander during a change of command ceremony at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, June 28. As Hill’s installation commander, Hammerstedt is responsible for the Air Force’s second largest base by population and size. The wing oversees 1 million acres and more than 1,300 facilities valued at $6.5 billion while providing installation support to the Ogden Air Logistics Complex, Life Cycle Management Center, Nuclear Weapons Center, 388th and 419th Fighter Wings and more than 50 other associate units totaling 21,000 personnel.
