Chemical test
The 775th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight recently conducted a weeklong training event at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. In one training scenario, law enforcement officers have raided the lab of a bomb maker, evacuated to a safe distance, and called on the 775th EOD Flight to investigate the scene. Senior Airman Edgar Vasquez uses a chemical “sniffer” to determine which harmful, weaponized agents are present before the team can begin processing the scene. The bomb maker drained a chemical warhead for use with an IED. (U.S. Air Force photo/Micah Garbarino)
