Maj. Gen. Sandra E. Finan, Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center commander, meets with ICBM Ground Systems Division personnel during her visit to Hill Air Force Base, Utah, Wednesday, Aug. 19. While at Hill, Finan participated in test launch activities, met with ICBM organizations, and recognized superior performers for their outstanding work. Headquartered at Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., to capitalize on key mission partner locations, the mission of AFNWC is to "Deliver nuclear capabilities and winning solutions warfighters use daily to deter and assure." The center consists of the 377th Air Base Wing and two wing-equivalent directorates: Nuclear Capabilities Directorate and Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles Systems Directorate.
