Twelve M16A2 rifles went missing June 3 when the case of weapons fell off the back of a highly-mobile multi-wheeled vehicle. Base investigators received a phone call stating the case could be found in the general vicinity of the stables on the west side of Hill Air Force Base. The incident is still under investigation. U.
