Lt. Col. Danny "Chip" Johnson (left), 75th Logistics Readiness Squadron commander, reviews a mobility bag with Staff Sgt. Michael Johnson (right) and Michael Olsen, Mobility Element A Bag manager May 17. Johnson was recently awarded the Gen. Thomas P. Gerrity Award at the AFMC level for Logistics Grade Officer of the Year. In typical fashion, Johnson gave a lot of credit to the personnel in his squadron. He was nominated while on leave by his logistics manager and was surprised and honored at the distinction.
