As a cross guard, it is Airman 1st Class Stephen Elliott, 75th Air Base Wing Communications and Information Directorate, duty to make sure that the school kids get across the street safely. There are many crosswalks around Hill Air Force Base that drivers need to be aware of. As a precaution, building 1204 and many other crosswalks around Hill Air Force Base have orange flags posted so that people can wave the flags as they are crossing the street to make drivers aware.
