Hill hockey

Members of the Hill Air Force Base ice hockey team (dark jerseys) attempt to clear the puck from their defensive zone during Sunday’s game at the Weber County Ice Sheet, Ogden, Utah. The Hill AFB team competes in a community league against other teams with varying talent levels. The talent level of the competition on Sunday was extremely high as the Hill AFB team lost the game 4-12. The team is waiting to find out when its first playoff game will be held. Chiefs falling behind

Senior Master Sgt. John Barnhouse, 729th Air Control Squadron, drives to the goal during the commanders vs. chiefs basketball game commemorating the start of this year's Air Force Assistance Fund campaign at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The chiefs fell behind early but managed to rally a late game come-back but fell short ultimately losing the game. Team Hill members in attendance were also treated to a half-time dance show put on by the ladies of the NBA's Utah Jazz dance team. Members in attendance also received door prizes presented by Kelsey Brigel, Miss Teen Utah as part of the event's festivities.
