CFC Halftime: Federal employee appreciation Published Oct. 25, 2013 By Mary Lou Gorny Hilltop Times Editor HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- Tim Randolph, Combined Federal Campaign chairman, wants to spread the word that federal employees are appreciated. In fact, that has been adopted as the official theme of this year's campaign in light of developments. With the Halftime event to be held at the Landing on Oct. 30, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., organizers are giving all federal employees a chance to make sure that if they chose to donate, their contributions will be designated for a charity of their choice. Nonprofits and charitable organizations are developing skits to show their appreciation to federal workers. The menu at The Landing for that day will be in line with half-time traditional fare and pricing is yet to be determined. With more than 3,300 organizations to chose from, all federal workers have the opportunity to find a charitable organization that supports the cause that speaks to them. Come join in the fun as other federal agencies within the Intermountain Region have been invited as well.
