Airman killed in snowmobile accident Published Dec. 9, 2013 75th Air Base Wing Public Affairs HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- An Airman assigned to the 729th Air ControlSquadron was pronounced dead at 5:52 p.m. Sunday at the scene of the accident after the Airman's snowmobile accident at the Monte Cristo Mountain Range in Utah. "Our most heartfelt condolences go out to the family of this Airman," said Lt. Col. Darin P. Humiston, 729th ACS commander. "The loss of one of our Airmen is a loss to all of us, and our thoughts are with the Airman's grieving family during this difficult time." The name of the deceased Airman is being withheld until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
