75 FSS invites Team Hill to 'Chill Around The Hill'

Spend the day bowling, kayaking in the pool, snow painting, playing carnival games, competing in human powered dog sled races, marshmallow roasting, and much, much more.

Chill Around The Hill is a free event hosted by the 75th Force Support Squadron and will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 8. The event is open to anyone with access to the installation.

"Chill Central" will be located at the Bowling Center (Bldg. 525) with activities taking place at the Hess Fitness Center, Warrior Fitness Center, Arts & Crafts and the ball fields to the northeast of the Hess.

New this year is the Chilly Chili 5K Run that begins and ends at the Warrior Fitness Center. Run participants will judge the chili samples and determine the winner. Registration is now open for any organization or individual who wants to enter the chili contest.

Also, returning to this year's event are the Human Powered Dog Sled Races. Gather your co-workers, family, friends or strangers to build your team; craft your sled and challenge others. Teams can consist of six or fewer members. The course is located east of the Hess. Register online before Feb. 7. Prizes will be awarded for fastest sled, best design, best costume and a grand prize for the overall winner.
