Team Hill mourns loss of employee

Officials with the 75th Air Base Wing confirmed today the death of Kaylynn Spackman on June 8 in Layton, Utah.

"Members of Team Hill are saddened by the loss of one our own," said Col. Kathryn L. Kolbe, 75th Air Base Wing and installation commander.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family, friends and co-workers. They should know we are grateful for everything she did for the Air Force and to support the Team Hill mission. She was a valued member of our team, and she will be dearly missed," said Kolbe.

Ms. Spackman, a Layton resident, was the 75th Air Base Wing and installation Director of Information Protection.

The incident remains under investigation by the Layton City Police Department of Public Safety. The U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations is assisting as needed.
