UTA offers bus service to Hill AFB open house, air show

HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- UTA is offering service to Hill Air Force Base's Warriors Over the Wasatch open house and air show on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29.

This air show features the U.S. Army's Golden Knights Parachute team, thrilling air performances from civilian and military pilots, and of course, the dives, spins and precision formations of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.

Buses will run every 15 minutes from the Clearfield FrontRunner Station to Hill Air Force Base, starting at 8 a.m. and ending at 6 p.m.

Please note that although bus service will be offered on Sunday, June 29, there will be no FrontRunner service. Patrons attending the show on Sunday are advised to use route 470 to Clearfield Station or drive to Clearfield Station and take the bus to Hill Air Force Base.

Rider Tips

If you're riding FrontRunner on Saturday, your train ticket can be used for bus service to the air show. On your return trip, you can board the air show bus for $2.50, request a transfer from the operator, and use the transfer as a $2.50 credit toward your FrontRunner fare.

Those driving to the Clearfield Station can ride the bus to the air show for $2.50 each way, payable at the bus fare box.

Riding in a group? Consider purchasing a Group Pass, which allows up to four people to ride trains and buses for just $15.
