Military Retiree Appreciation event Sept. 26

HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- Military retirees from all service branches are invited to attend a Retiree Appreciation Day and Information Fair from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 26 at The Landing. The event is free and will provide pertinent resources and information for military retirees and their families.

The keynote speaker will be Richard Smith, Executive Director of Basketball Operations for the Utah Jazz.

Several presentations are scheduled including the Veteran's Administration, Social Security Administration, Tricare and the Air Force Retiree Council. More than 50 federal, state and non-profit organizations will also set up information booths to provide resource materials for event goers.

Hill AFB supports more than 22,000 retirees and their families in Utah, southern Idaho, southwest Wyoming and northeast Nevada.
