Hill Air Force Base's 2014 Combined Federal Campaign will run Oct. 6-Nov. 16. The CFC mission is to support and to promote philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost efficient and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.

The Combined Federal Campaign belongs to you - the Federal employee. It is a partnership between the employee, the Federal Government and the charitable organizations that benefit all. CFC is a complete donor choice campaign. You direct your support to charities that work on the issues you care deeply about. The CFC has been around since 1961 and has a proven track record for efficiency.

This year's CFC kick-off event will be Oct. 1 at The Landing from 10:50 a.m.-12:30 p.m. There will be approximately 50 charities in attendance and the entertainment for this year's event will be "Charity Popcorn."  Each charity will have 30-45 seconds to provide a brief  elevator speech or skit about their mission. Door prizes will be given throughout the event, and lunch is available for purchase through The Landing. Admittance is free, and it should be a lot of fun.

For as little as $1 per pay period, you can make a huge difference and support your charity. CFC has made it convenient to give by online or by paper form. You can donate through payroll deduction, the most convenient way to give (either online or by paper form), or you can donate by credit/debit card, cash, or personal check. You can go to www.intermountaincfc.org to browse through the list of charities. Each unit also has project officers and keyworkers who will contact employees and are available to assist with donating.

This year's 2014 CFC theme for the Intermountain Region is "Be the Change You Wish to See in the World." So, let's pool our dollars together as Team Hill always does, so that we can truly see a positive change in our world for those charities needing our precious donations.
