Holiday Greetings from commander Published Dec. 23, 2014 By Col. Ron Jolly 75th Air Base Wing commander HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- Team Hill, With the holiday season already upon us, and the New Year just around the corner, I want to offer a heartfelt thank you to you and your families for your unyielding commitment to our nation. Your dedication and sacrifices, along with those of your family, have ensured our success in 2014, and will continue to propel us to "Art of the Possible" results in 2015. While we reflect on the past year, your service has not gone unnoticed. It has been chock-full of hard work, successes and even lessons learned. Please accept my gratitude for a job well done. As you enjoy your holiday festivities with family and friends, please take a moment to remember and thank our fellow service members and their families, many who are serving around the world. We currently have about 600 Airmen deployed from Hill. Please keep them in your thoughts during their separation from their loved ones. While the holidays are a time for celebration, they can also be very difficult for those who have suffered losses as Team Hill just experienced with the deaths of SSgt Derek and Emily Ramos. Please keep their families and friends in your thoughts and, as always, be a good Wingman and keep an eye out for your fellow Airmen. Again, please accept my sincere thank you for what each of you and your families do every day for our country. Happy Holidays from my family to you and yours!
