Active, Guard and Reserve invited to "Salute" picnic

HILL AIR FORCE BASE --  HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- The annual Salute to Our Nation's Defenders Picnic is set for July 10. The picnic will be held at the base's Centennial Park from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

All active duty, Guard and Reserve military personnel and their families are invited to attend the free event, which includes catered gourmet food, games and activities for children, and other entertainment.

Leaders want Airmen to know this is a relaxed, comfortable, "civilian attire" event.

The picnic is hosted by the Top of Utah Military Affairs Committee, Zions Bank, America First Credit Union, Gastronomy Inc., CenturyLink, and other sponsors as a way to thank military members for their service.
