Hill safety office provides crucial info for local aviators Published Aug. 10, 2015 75 Air Base Wing Safety Office HILL AIR FORCE BASE, UT -- Aviation safety officials at Hill Air Force Base recently released important information for civilian pilots in the Top of Utah. The 2015/2016 Mid-Air Collision Avoidance pamphlet is designed to increase awareness of military aviation in the communities surrounding Hill AFB. "The material we compiled provides a "big picture" about the available radar services, the types of military aircraft, arrival and departure routes, and military operating areas (MOAs). We hope the information will help pilots gain a better understanding of our local military operations, facilitating a safe flying environment for all," said Maj. Jermaine Vaughs, 75th Air Base Wing chief of flight safety. For more information, the pamphlet can be downloaded at: http://www.hill.af.mil/shared/media/document/AFD-150728-023.pdf
