Hill AFB Parking Areas Full; FrontRunner best way to get to today's Air Show Published June 25, 2016 75th Air Base Wing Public Affairs HILL AIR FORCE BASE -- Utah -- All public parking areas on Hill AFB are full and those wanting to still attend today's Air Show are encouraged to use FrontRunner and the Clearfield UTA Station for the remainder of the day. "Traffic is currently being diverted off the base," said Col. Dana C. Pelletier, director of the base's Emergency Operations Center for the Air Show, "but UTA is continuously running shuttles between the Clearfield Station and the Air Show. Drivers are currently being directed to parking lots at Northridge High School, 2430 N. Hillfield Road in Layton, or to the Weber State University Campus, 2750 N. University Park Boulevard, to park. A shuttle service is being provided from those areas to the base. Those who would like to walk on the base may do so through the South Gate only. The South Gate is located at the intersection of Highway 193 and Hillfield Road in Layton. The Air Show continues until 5 p.m. today, and will continue tomorrow from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. FrontRunner will run tomorrow as well and shuttle service will again be available between the Clearfield Station and the Air Show.
