HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- The Air National Guard has an in-service recruiting office at Hill Air Force Base with the primary purpose in providing Airmen valuable information about extending career opportunities after active-duty service. It is located in the Airman Leadership School (Building 235, Room 235) and is manned by Tech. Sgt. Jonathan Cha, the in-service recruiter assigned to the base.
Cha assists active-duty Airmen who are interested in transitioning to the Air National Guard through programs like Palace Chase and Palace Front. He provides guidance on eligibility, application processes, and benefits.
“I’m there to help ensure a smooth transition for those looking to continue their military careers while gaining more flexibility,” Cha said. “I work closely with service members to help them understand their options, whether they are seeking part-time service with civilian career opportunities or aiming to leverage their skills in a new capacity within the Guard.”
He also helps military members in applying for full-time opportunities within the Air National Guard, including Active Guard Reserve and technician job opportunities.
“By offering career counseling and helping navigate the application process, I connect qualified individuals with positions that align with their experience and goals,” he said. “My mission is to ensure Airmen at Hill AFB are well-informed about the opportunities available to them, allowing them to make the best decision for their future while continuing to serve their country.”
