Open Aircraft Day at Hill Aerospace Museum Published Oct. 8, 2024 75th Air Base Wing Public Affairs HILL AFB, Utah -- More than 9,000 people attended Open Aircraft Day Sept. 21 at the Hill Aerospace Museum. The event showcased 16 museum’s aircraft, including the newly acquired F-22 and F-117, which had open displays allowing for attendees to view inside the cockpits. In addition to viewing aircraft, guests heard from speakers Joe Chew, former F-22 crew chief, and Lt. Col Philip “Stonewall” Johnson, commander of the 514 Flight Test Squadron.
