The Air Force Sustainment Center Directorate of Personnel is set to launch the Skill Enhancement and Employee Development initiative this fall, opening up valuable workforce development opportunities across the Center. The application period will run from August 26 to September 13.

"The SEED program is designed to provide our personnel with dynamic and engaging opportunities to grow and develop their skills," said Venita White, workforce development lead for AFSC. "It's all about giving our employees the tools they need to succeed and advance in their careers."

The SEED initiative includes a range of programs aimed at fostering professional growth, such as:

  • Federal Wage System Mentorship Program
  • Human Resource Certification
  • Human Resource Job Shadowing
  • Human Resources University Succession Planning Program
  • Training with Industry

"These programs offer hands-on experiences and the chance to learn from seasoned professionals," White added. "They are tailored to fit a variety of career goals and learning preferences, making them accessible to a wide range of personnel."

Detailed information about each program, including fact sheets, is available on the SEED SharePoint site, which can be accessed from any government computer. Applications will be accepted exclusively through this site during the data call window.
