Due to rising maintenance and operating costs, base officials made the decision to permanently close the Hill AFB Pool closed. However, from splash pads to wave simulators, there are plenty of other on- and off-base options available to cool down and have fun this summer.

The free splash pad at Centennial Park, which was designed so all "splashed" water can be collected and recycled, will be open to anyone with base access.
