Team Hill Frontlines: Jim Lanham

Editor's Note: The “Team Hill Frontlines" series is a recurring feature that puts the spotlight on some of the civilian and military Airmen on the "frontlines" supporting our mission, people and families during the COVID-19 crisis.

Jim Lanham works for DLA Aviation Ogden as an inventory management specialist. He is from Brigham City, Utah, and his hobbies include camping and spending time at his cabin in Alaska.

Jim’s experience working on the COVID-19 frontlines:

"Being an essential employee, I divide my work week between telework and office time to establish and disseminate team objectives. I’ve set up a communication group chat using skype as well as periodically check the team inbox for work request. Our customers are very appreciative of the way my team have enabled to press with demands as we have placed emphasis on using electronic means for communication such as skype, email, and phone. I chair a weekly team group meeting so I am better able to track and prioritize workload from each team member. Then I develop a weekly “Pandemic Group Brief” and compile that information for my supervision to review.”
