HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- An Airman serving with the Area Defense Counsel at Hill Air Force Base was recognized this month with the Team Hill Top 3 Superior Performer award.
Tech. Sgt. Kyle Staples is a defense paralegal was nominated for the award for demonstrating excellence on and off duty.
Staples arrived at Hill AFB in January and has been in the Air Force for more than 15 years. His goals are to be promoted, become a law office superintendent, complete his master’s degree, and eventually be accepted into law school.
He is currently working towards his master’s degree, which upon completion will be his fifth postsecondary degree. Staples currently holds associates in criminal justice, munitions systems technology, and as paralegal. He also has a bachelor’s in criminal justice.
Staples is married with three children together. In his free time, Staples enjoys skiing, fishing, and spending time with his family.
