The base’s South Gate Visitor Control Center will close for approximately four weeks to accommodate renovations to the building.

The renovations will enhance aesthetics and the security of the visitor center. The closure includes all customer service functions at this location.

The project is scheduled to occur July 9 through Aug. 10.

During this time all visitor center support will move to the West Gate Visitor Control Center located east of I-15 exit 335.

Base officials know that the West Gate has limited customer waiting space and parking and they ask for your patience during the construction period.

The West Gate Visitor Control will be open from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

The following gate hours will still apply during the construction period:

• West Gate: Open 24 hours
• South Gate: Open 24 hours
• Roy Gate: Open 4:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Friday

If delays occur, they will be announced on the Hill AFB website at www.hill.af.mil, via base email and in the Hilltop Times base newspaper.
