Colonel MICHELLE ARTOLACHIPE

Col. Michelle Artolachipe is the Deputy Commander, Ogden Air Logistics Complex, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. She is responsible for more than 6,900 military and civilian personnel who perform depot maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification of the A10, C-130, T-38, F-16, F-22, F-35 and the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile system. The complex also oversees the national-level airpower reservoir for aircraft storage, reclamation, regeneration  and  disposal at Davis-Monthan  AFB, Arizona. Additionally, the complex produces aerospace commodities that include electronics,  avionics, instruments, power systems and software for the assigned weapon systems, and is the landing gear center of excellence for the Air Force. Her responsibilities extend to operating locations in Japan, Texas, California, Wyoming, North Dakota and Montana.

The Ogden Air Logistics Complex directly supports a global supply chain enabling Department of Defense and allied combat operations. Artolachipe is from Rancho Cucamonga, California. She entered active duty in the United States Air Force in May 1998 after graduating from the United States Air Force Academy and receiving her 
commission. She holds a secondary AFSC as a Foreign Area Officer for Latin America and is a fully qualified Joint Staff Officer. She has served in multiple assignments at the Squadron, Group, Major Command, Combatant Command, and Joint Staff levels. Prior to her current position, she was the Logistics Wing Commander, NATO E-3A Component and US Air Force AWACS Group Commander at Geilenkirchen NATO Air Base, Germany. She led 452 personnel from 16 nations and 35 work centers providing maintenance and logistics support for NATO’s fleet of 14 E-3As, valued at $4.6 billion.
