    A Hill aerospace propulsion journeyman will step away from his Air Force career in August, with the goal of returning as a Space Operations Officer after spending four years at the University of Utah. Senior Airman Jared Timmons with the 388th Maintenance Squadron received a commissioning opportunity through the Scholarships for Outstanding Airman to ROTC (SOAR), and is excited to continue his career after graduation.

    The annual Martin Luther King, Jr. commemorative luncheon took place on Jan. 17 at The Landing. The event, hosted by the African American Heritage Committee and sponsored by the Team Hill Special Observance Council, is one of 10 Department of Defense special observances hosted by THSOC each year.
