Editor's Note: The “Team Hill Frontlines" series is a recurring feature that puts the spotlight on some of the civilian and military Airmen on the "frontlines" supporting our mission, people and families during the COVID-19 crisis.

Jay Castro works for DLA Aviation as a material handler. He fulfills anywhere from 200 to 400 material requisition orders per day to ensure I keep parts in the hands of maintainers. He is from Guam and his hobbies include listening to music, boating, longboarding, camping and hanging out with family.

Jay’s experience working on the COVID-19 frontlines:

"I always strive to work with a positive attitude and willing to help at a moment's notice. I distribute personal disinfectant wipes and work very hard to ensure that our 12 vertical lift modules, in which material is stored, remains cleaned and sanitized. This ensures our customer receives clean material. In addition, our leadership has implemented several great safety measures that we abide by to ensure the safety and well-being of our team and those that we serve. Wearing masks, social distancing and practicing great hygiene is all of our responsibility."

Jay, Team Hill thanks you for your service! We appreciate you!
