    Hill will observe the Columbus Day federal holiday Oct. 8. Many offices and services will be closed or have limited hours.

  • ‘Feds Feed Families’ campaign underway at Hill Commissary

    The Hill Commissary is once again joining other stateside commissaries to serve as a common collection point for the 2018 Feds Feed Families campaign. During the campaign that began Aug. 10 and continues through Oct. 15, commissaries help collect items most needed by food pantries and then donate them to on- and off-base food banks.

  • Hill Aerospace Museum to host Open Aircraft Day

    The Hill Aerospace Museum is hosting its annual Open Aircraft Day from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 29. Admission is free and open to the public.
  • Hill museum hosts 'Plane Talk' speaker series

    The Hill Aerospace Museum will host a “Plane Talk” speaker series Saturdays at 1 p.m. in the museum auditorium. Each week, guest speakers feature topics related to the heritage of Hill AFB, the U.S. Air Force, other military branches, and many other subjects related aerospace and the defense industry. The speaker series is open to the public and admission is free.
  • 309th AMARG Airmen save life, earn valor award

    Members of the Ogden Air Logistic Complex's 309th Aircraft Maintenance and Regeneration Group located at Davis-Monthan AFB were presented with the Command Civilian Award for Valor Aug. 29.
  • Disabled veterans earn Space-A travel

    The 2019 National Defense Authorization Act was recently signed, which included a measure that will allow fully-disabled veterans the ability to utilize Space-Available travel.
  • Hill F-35s complete intensive weapons evaluation

    The 388th and 419th Fighter Wings recently completed two exercises over three weeks here known as Combat Hammer and Combat Archer from Aug. 6-24 as part of the Air Force’s annual Weapons System Evaluation Program.
